Guided Products Expands National Distribution By Adding Walmart

Responsible, American-made products hit the shelf at Walmart

Seattle, WA – June 13, 2012 – Guided Products LLC, a fast-growing US consumer brand announces its nationwide retail rollout in more than 3,000 Walmart stores and on Walmart.com.  For the first time, this makes Guided’s American-made, responsible products available on the same shelves and at the same prices as goods from overseas that are destined for American landfills.

The ReSleeve is the first Guided product to hit national retail shelves.  ReSleeves are durable, recyclable CD/DVD cases that are less expensive than standard plastic CD/DVD cases.  Beyond the ReSleeve, the Company targets and builds products in what it believes to be stagnant, established categories.  In the coming months, there will be even more Guided products on even more retail shelves. ReBinder in Washington Manufacturer Alert

Washington Manufacturer Alert did a great article on ReBinder recently. The article is reprinted in its entirety below with permission from Washington Manufacturer Alert.

Our Favorite Quote:

“We would argue that no company is a green company. They are simply a company. The only way a difference will ever really be made by responsible products is when they sit on the same shelves, for the same price as the other choices. It’s time to stop crying foul at industry and (realize that) industry is the catalyst to change. Get good at it, or get comfortable at the kids table, where you’ll have little impact on what’s served for dinner. Responsible companies choose ReBinder to align message, mission and budget. If one of those is missing, then it’s going to be a long road for makers of responsible products.”
